The First Monday grounds is a perfect venue for events such as RV rallies.  Good Sam's recently held a rally with up to 450 rigs.

Open all year, Canton's RV Park on the grounds of the Original First Monday Park near the Canton Civic Center is a popular destination for RV enthusiasts, visitors to First Monday Trade Days, and convention-goers.

Reserving RV space during First Monday Trade Days

The reserved RV area is located on Flea Market Road off Hwy. 64 West by the Canton Civic Center. These sites are pull-through with full hook-ups. Reservations may be made one month in advance beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday following First Monday weekend. Call (903) 567-6556 to reserve.

There is a three-night minimum on advance reservations. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable and must be received in full by Friday, one week before the sale. Sites may be renewed for the following month if paid before 6 p.m. the Sunday of the sale.

Unreserved RV areas are located inside the West Gate entrance off FM 859. These rent on a first-come, first-serve basis. Full hook-ups are north (in front) of the Log Cabin. Please go to the Log Cabin office for assignment and payment of space prior to hooking up. Water/electric hookups are south (behind) the Log Cabin. For these specific spaces only, find an available space and hook up.  Then you will specify the space number at the Log Cabin window and make your payment at that time.

A dump station is located at the Flea Market Road entrance to the RV Park. Honeywagon service is available through AAA Sanitation, (903) 593-5909.

RV Rallies

The First Monday RV Park is the perfect location for RV rallies. Some 2,000 RV sites are available in the park, which is paved and well-lit for security. Attendees have access to the Canton Civic Center for group events. The Civic Center has a kitchen, concession areas and restrooms. A park, playground and tennis courts are located nearby. 

During RV rallies, all children,  regardless of age, must be chaperoned while inside the Civic Center. Pets are welcome outside as long as they are on a leash or in portable playpens. Pet owners must clean up after their animals. Alcoholic beverages, smoking and tobacco products are not permitted inside the building.
