Is this your first time coming to First Monday in Canton? Do not worry we have you covered! Follow these three easy steps and you will ace your first weekend with us! Make a list, map it out and money matters.
1. Make a list of items you are looking for at First Monday. This will help you zero in on what you really want. If you have a set shopping list you will be more inclined to stay focused when walking around. Of course something off your list may catch your eye but that is expected with over 400 acres of shopping!
2. Map It Out! Decide where you want to go will help you navigate parking and where to start your shopping. We suggest parking at the Westgate entrance, yellow lot and heading to the Famous Vendor Fields. Next walk over to the Civic Center and Antique Alley for all your antique and collectable items. Stop for lunch on your way to Row 46 for clothing and decor. Lastly, head to the four Trade Centers starting at Trade Center 3 then going to Trade Center 4, Trade Center 2, and ending at Trade Center 1!
3. Bring Cash! Cash at First Monday is essential! Parking at the West Gate Entrance, Yellow Lot is $10. Most food places only take cash. Although a lot of vendors do take credit cards, you never know which ones don’t and it would be a shame to let go of that perfect piece you just found.
It is important to be prepared for your weekend here with us and these three easy steps are a great place to start!
